Synopsis:

Manhattan Communications is a fast-growing digital marketing agency with offices in USA, UK, India and Dubai which develops consumer digital marketing solutions for brands such as Centrum, Colors, Geojit BNP Paribas, Lawman, ZuperMeal, Alccofine and WonderChef. We are seeking an experienced business development professional to build relationships with new clients in the Indian market. Our sales representatives will work directly with marketers and brand managers at blue chip brand companies helping them to understand the benefits of digital marketing and promotions as well as social and mobile strategies to build and engage users on-line. The sales approach is consultative and our business development representatives help client’s design and execute digital solutions that meet their needs as well as constantly exceed their expectations. We are looking for fun, driven and talented individuals to join our ever growing dynamic team!

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate relationships with brands and agencies of all sizes
  • Identify and investigate new business opportunities and channels
  • Negotiate contracts and secure new business
  • Manage accounts effectively in order to drive recurring revenue and increase level of participation of clients
  • Understand Digital/Social Media and Manhattan’s technology, and then articulate how Manhattan’s capabilities meet stated client needs
  • Become a thought leader for digital marketing strategy and leverage experience with clients
  • Grow and maintain pipeline and actively close sales

Desired skills & experience:

  • 2+ years plus of outside sales experience required
  • Highly motivated, competitive people
  • Aggressive self-starter with a proven history of closing sales
  • Strong contacts with consumer product marketers, ad.digital agencies, brands
  • Excellent presentation skills and communication skills
  • New business oriented rather than account management
  • Intelligent, tech savvy, hardworking individual
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ideal candidates will be preferred
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a sales team
  • Proven ability to meet/exceed sales target
